Thirssur Infrastructure Development Society (TIDeS) promoted by Thrissur Chapters of Kerala Small Scale Industries Association, Chamber of Commerce and Kerala Vyapari Vyavasai Ekopana Samiti is the first Public-Private-Participation initiative for the infrastructure development of especially, but not limited to, Thrissur district of Kerala Stat. facilitatinginteraction with Central and State Governments, Local Administration and the resource people of the District. It has the main objective of implementing projects in the field of infrastructure and development and those of the State and Central Governments, Government of India, International Bodies, Local Bodies and private bodies by accepting their funds/grants/subsidies/loans or otherwise.
It intends to promote, provide, support and maintain the infrastructure facilities and services to improve the competitiveness of the enterprises in Kerala region, but not limited to, in the following fields.
- Physical infrastructure
- Transportation and logistics
- Environmental Protection, Pollution abatement and waste management.
- Power and fuel.
- Water, sanitation and hygiene.
- Technical and Engineering.
- Human resource development.
- Material Procurement and vendor development including cluster development.
- Marketing and commercial relationship
- Financial Services including Microfinance
- Business and Knowledge Process Outsourcing
- Housing, education, health care, and recreation.
- Legal, corporate, taxation and consultancy.
- Any other activity for trade , industry and infrastructure development.
